Yggdrasil asked:
I already have spybot, which is great for removing it, and a pretty good virus scanner (AVG Free) but I have to keep removing spyware that has managed to lodge itself on my computer. I know how to get rid of it once it’s already there, but how do I keep the spyware from getting onto my computer at all? I scan it just about every day and lists of spyware keep showing up just from casual use, even only going on yahoo. Is there a way to stop this?

M.J. asked: What is the best antivirus, anti spyware and regristry fixer out on the market right now? I had norton 360 but it really sucked and I need something really good because my computer is acting weird after defragging and cleaning it up. I have yahoo antispy and it removed some trojans but thats all it picked up! Any ideas? Thanks.

ncha1108 asked: I have a Toshiba laptop. I know my computer have been in infected by some virus and spyware cookies. I used to use many different software to scan and stop the infection in my computer, but unsuccessful. Everytime I scan my computer, after 5 or 10 minutes, my computer is automatic shut down. I don’t know why. I think the reason is because when I scan to a specific virus or spyware which is important for running other programs, the scanning software affects to them, so they cause the shutting down of my computer. Am I right? If so, could you help me to solve this problem, and show me another way to scan, kill and stop virus and spyware without cause shutting down computer? Do you know any free software I can use?

hugo asked: I share an internet connection with my brother – both connected to the same router – but his computer is really, really slow. Probably due to the amount of spyware/adware/viruses he has. What I wanted to know was, will the speed of his computer have an effect on my internet speed at all? Is that possible?

Jason P asked:
If adware is in my system volume information folder, can I just delete it with the program I have which is a-squared. A-squared is the one that detected it so can I just remove it with that program?

Erik G asked: I heard that adult websites can expose computers to viruses, spyware, adware, and all sorts of other ills. They also cause PCs to crash for hours.
How is that possible? And I know adult sites refer to not just porn, what should also be avoided?
