Starting yesterday At the task bar, I get an red x stating my computer is infected with spyware. However the red x keeps showing up up at the taskbar when I restart to computer and resigning in. It also sometimes starts downloading Anti virus Pro 2009 automatically when I close the warning it gives. Anyone know what i should do. I never had this problem before.

Spybot search & Destroy, AVG anti-spyware etc. The products claim there are no more infections on my computer but that annoying pop up icon on the right side of the toolbar keeps telling me that i have spyware and should install a whole bunch of things! What can i do to get rid of this without paying anything? Thanks (I have windows XP)
I cant go to add/remove programs cause i dont know that the name of the file is, ive looked forever. And i cant right hand cliack on the icon cause it opens a page telling me what to buy.

My son got comcast internet recently. We could not download mcfee antivirus that came with it.(Tried numerous times.) He bought Webroot spysweeper with antivirus and installed it. Ran scan and quarantined everything that came up, but the spyware is still there and keeps popping up. Also ran Ad-ware. Nothing seems to get rid of it. Keep in mind that the computer is old and has a lot of stuff on it. It is very slow. Thanks for help in advance.
