Fault With Computer (Repeated restart)?
February 26th, 2010
Jagdish S asked:
I have recently bought a new computer. But i am experencing certain problems. Every time I start the computer and run some “heavy” software (like a game or windows media player) the computer restarts. But when it is in idle, or am typing a letter it works fine.
Can anyone tell me where this problem lies so that may be able to correct it. I have a warranty on all the parts of the computer. Thanks,

Its a Celeron 2.6 GHz processor with 256 Mb RAM and a 816 motherboard.
Thanks.

Are you sure it is not the Game that you are using not causing the problem. Also your computer is not good enough to handle new games. I have a 2.4G P4 with 512MB RAM but that too is not good for any new games. You really need to look at the kind of software you are using and viruses and stuff.
How to Make Solar Power
Restarting is typically caused by hardware malfunctions. This could possibly be caused by a failing harddrive, overheating processor, or even simply not enough memory for the game (possibly not even enough memory for the video card). Which o/s is installed on it?
Make Residential Solar Panels
you are running short on resources !
a celeron is a poor processor, compared to a pentium
so you are lacking in processor power
celeron is poor for multimedia & sure not for gaming !
i will not tell you to junk your pc immediately
inquire cost of additional 512 mb x 2 sticks
> adds upto 1 gb if u’r motherboard has 2 slots
> adds upto 1 gb + 256 mb if u’r motherboard has 4 slots
i’m pretty sure you are bound to notice the difference in performance levels
