my computer is turning off automatically. what could be the fault?

    How old is your computer? It could be the power supply. Try changing it, for an external one, perhaps.

    Might be any problem from a hardware. As mentioned, it might be overheating from your processor or graphic card. Check that the fans are working.

    Alternatively, check the power supply unit.

    Also, check if there the wires are crossed to cause a short circuit for the main switch button to your mother board.

    Go into control panel, open power options and check your settings. if it isn’t that it sounds like overheating. Is it desk top or laptop? If it is laptop make sure it is able to get air underneath. Eg: don’t use it on bed.
    If desk top and a few years old the power supply may be clogged up with dust or other obstuction.

    check your power options settings to make sure it’s set to never instead of 45mins or other,under control panel,my mom had the same problem with her monitor and pc shutting down so i adjusted her power
    options settings to never ,hdd,monitor, standby ,this might not be the cure but it’s worth a try
