I’m looking for free public records for a business I need to get the EIN (employer identification numb) of an arizona based buisness. I have already checked with the az corp commission and maricopa county parcels and tax records with no luck. I sincerely appreciate any help you can offer.

recorder.maricopa.gov has almost everything. Most employers treat their EIN the same way a private citizen would treat their personal Social Security Number. You would not want it published anywhere. The IRS expects you to get this by phone from the employer. If the employer is no longer in business, you can write a hardship letter to the IRS explaining the problem.
