What are the best programs to get rid of spyware and adware and stuff?

    Adaware Se, Spybot Search and destroy combine to work well, dont rely on just one. AVG Free edition is also a very good antivirus solution , especially free!

    Ad Aware and Spy Bot Search and Destroy are great, but also use HiJack this to check unwanted items in your registry.

    Yahoo has a free Norton Spyware Scan. You might have to download the tool bar. I just scan from time to time and it’s caught a few things I had to delete.

    2. Spybot search and destroy (free)
    3. SpywareBlaster (free). This one works by blocking nasties stored on it’s database, so they don’t get on your machine in the first place.
