Despite my active anti-spyware and anitvirus software, my desktop now has spyware. The tricky part is, not only does it prevent me from going to any websites where I can download antispyware, it will not allow my antivirus and antispyware programs to run, giving a pop-up message saying the .exe files are infected. Starting in safe mode does not work, as the computer goes to blue screen and shuts down “to prevent further damage”.

Do I have any options short of doing a complete restore?
