My computer seems to have contracted spyware, specifically WinFixer. I have run Adaware, SpyBot S&D, AVG, and PestPatrol and have had no luck in getting rid of it. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

I already have spybot, which is great for removing it, and a pretty good virus scanner (AVG Free) but I have to keep removing spyware that has managed to lodge itself on my computer. I know how to get rid of it once it’s already there, but how do I keep the spyware from getting onto my computer at all? I scan it just about every day and lists of spyware keep showing up just from casual use, even only going on yahoo. Is there a way to stop this?

I used Spybot and Norton Antiviruse and none of them did the job because i’m still getting popups. I have my popblocker settings on HIGH and i’m still getting popups. Does anyone know a program thats stronger than spybot or another way to remove spyware and adware from my computer?
