CHRIS-B-CHICKEN asked: I have seen a lot of them but I heard they are just a bunch of bull and don’t work. Anyone recommend one that you can actually see changes? Also any spyware/adware removal tools?
I am using a Windows XP Pro computer with WMC. I also only use Firefox to browse the web. Freeware or Shareware accepted.

bingding81 asked: I installed Ad-Aware on my computer, and it doesn’t detect any suspicious files. Yet adware pops up whenever I open Internet Explorer. I use Firefox primarily, but I’d like to get rid of the adware on Explorer still. Is there a preferences folder I can get into and delete the file(s) manually? I even reinstalled Windows XP on my computer and still the adware remains.

gilmoregirl asked: My system has become very unstable and is getting ready to crash completely. My CD drive does not work (physical reasons, not the computer’s fault), so I can’t do a reinstall with the CD. My hard drive has a D drive back-up partition. My friend tells me I can do a recovery from that without the CD. Is this correct? Has anyone done this? How do I do it?ANY help greatly appreciated. Thank you!
